How much do vaccines cost in Singapore?

06 Oct 2017

For newcomers as well as for long-term residents, vaccination is a hot-button topic – either not every person may agree with vaccination or because the idea of making a vaccine in a foreign country can be disruptive. Especially as costs of vaccinations in Singapore can vary tremendously. Indeed, while routine vaccinations in your country of origin may have been offered free of charge, you probably will have to put some money up in Singapore.

As for hospitalization – you can read our article about it costs may vary according to whether you choose to get vaccinated in a public or private hospital. Most of the time, costs of vaccinations in Singapore exclude doctor’s consultation. So you have to think the price of your vaccine as three distinct prices: the consultation service, the practice cost and the cost of the vaccine itself. In that way, because of higher consultation service and practice costs in private hospitals, you will pay more in a private hospital than in a public hospital. Thereby, you should inquire about the price of your consultation before you get vaccinated. You can find the list of hospitals in Singapore and their respective telephone numbers on our website.
